Slang, or to be more exact, shortforms of words and cool lingo? Ya, that's probably how to describe it. E.g The abbreviation LOL... One moment, i hear ppl say LOL! , HAHAHAHA! The next day(exaggerated), out of the same person's mouth and hear Laugh Out Loud... So, is it LOL or Laugh Out Loud??? Then, slang. One moment Fren X is speaking to me, 'Ya Lor, Ah ya, Lik that one.' Obviously Singlish. Then, my dear auzzie fren taps X on the back and asks him something. 'Of course, yes we could do that and that and that...' Fren X replies in a posh accent... WAIT, wasn't he speaking in Singlish like 5 seconds ago? Yeah, so thats what I mean by inconsistency...
Of course, I admit to be guilty of that too, lik who isn't? But, i do feel that the world would be better with more solid decisions. What do u think? Post your opinion in the c-box.
